Palm HotSync conduits and data types
The Palm HotSync software enables you to synchronize data from a Palm OS-based PDA to your computer. It does this by providing conduits. Each conduit handles one or more kinds of data.
In general, you cannot use more than one conduit to synchronize a particular kind of data. These data types include:
- Address book
- Calendar events
- To-do tasks
- Memo pad notes
So, if you want to synchronize your address book contacts to Microsoft Entourage, you cannot also sync your contacts with Apple's iSync conduit or the Palm Desktop's own address conduit.
