Software
We support many different software packages, but have a standardized suite that we typically install on every new Macintosh. For RIT-owned systems used by faculty and staff, we are constantly evaluating software and setup steps in order to make your new computer setup at RIT quick and painless.
Software for Mac OS X
Mac OS X has presented tremendous opportunities for the Mac platform since its debut in 2001. Whether you are upgrading from a previous version of Mac OS X, migrating from classic Mac OS, switching from another platform, or using a computer for the first time, we try to lead you to the software that will make the best your Mac OS X experience at RIT.
