Setting Up Your E-mail Client on Microsoft Exchange
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to set up your e-mail client to connect to your RIT Computer Account. For assistance with these instructions please contact the ITS HelpDesk
When setting up your client you have the option of using MAPI or IMAP. MAPI connections take full-advantage of all the Exchange features including Calendar but requires you to either be on-campus connection or off-campus access with VPN. You can use IMAP everywhere but it doesn't take full-advantage of all Exchange features.
