Add the RIT Directory to your Address Book

Open the Address Book from the Communicator menu.

Select "New Directory..." from the File menu. The "LDAP Server Properties" window will appear.
- Enter RIT Directory in the Description field.
- Enter "ldap.rit.edu" in the LDAP Server field.
- Enter "ou=people,dc=rit,dc=edu" in the Search Root field.
- Ensure that "389" is entered in the Port Number field.
- Click the "OK" button.
- Open the Netscape preferences by selecting "Preferences..." from the Edit menu.

Select the "Addressing" category under the "Mail & Newsgroups" section.
- Check the box next to "Directory server."
- Select RIT Directory from the list.
- Click the "OK" button.
