Adobe Software Products
General Information
ITS has signed a Contractual License Program (CLP) with Adobe Systems Inc. on behalf of RIT. Adobe's CLP is a flexible licensing program that enables RIT to receive the discounts and benefits of a large-volume purchase without having to make large upfront expenditures. RIT is thus able to receive substantial discounts over and above the existing standalone educational prices provided by Adobe. Such discounts range from 25-30% off TLP (Transactional License Program) and 65% off academic boxed products.
Platforms
The agreement applies to both Windows and Macintosh Adobe software.
RIT Purchases and Use At Home Rights
All RIT faculty and staff are eligible to order under the CLP. RIT faculty and staff are allowed to use the software purchased under the CLP agreement at home, on computers they own. There is no additional charge for home use rights.
