Year of the Club

This year has been dubbed "Year of the Club" by the Center for Campus Life and today is our day! If you're interested in amateur radio, stop by our table. We'll be there all day to answer questions and demo some of the things we do.

Winter 2008 Meetings

Winter quarter meetings are held every Wednesday at 8pm in room 9-3119 beginning December 3. Meetings last between an hour and an hour and a half, after which the club typically goes to the club room 4-A091.

Learning Morse Code Online

Some have asked about which websites to go to learn CW online. Here is a compiled list that can be added onto. Hopefully there will be a larger index of pages about learning amateur radio that this can be added to!

Using Ham Radio Deluxe

Introduction

Ham Radio Deluxe is a very powerful program that was recently introduced to the amateur radio community. Throughout the last few years it has grown tremendously as a "do-it-all" software package. This software has the ability to log contacts, decode PSK31, control radios, control antenna rotors, and much more! This article has been written as a guide to the basic functions of the program and how to use it in the club room.
