Tutoring and mentoring services are available year round. Advisers in the College of Engineering and elsewhere at RIT can help you more thoroughly understand your academic subjects, discuss high school-college transition issues, discover your own learning style, and develop study skills that will optimize your program of study at RIT. The Engineering Learning Center (ELC) – James E. Gleason Building (09/1001) The Engineering Learning Center (ELC) is staffed by computer, industrial and systems, electrical and mechanical engineering upper class students Monday – Thursday from 10 AM until 7 PM and on Friday from 10 AM until 4 PM. These students can help with engineering, math, and science courses.
