Part-time Study An increasing number of students desire to pursue engineering degrees part time while maintaining full-time employment. In response to their needs, the college offers several options. Those lacking the normal mathematics and science background to meet engineering program admission requirements are encouraged to seek the recommendation of the Learning Development Center relative to additional preparation. As with full-time students, part-time students are required to complete the equivalent of five quarters of approved cooperative work experience. Arrangements can be made for part-time students to use approved portions of their regular employment to satisfy some or all of the co-op requirements. Those wishing further information on part-time study in engineering should contact the College of Engineering Office of Student Services at 585-475-7994.
