Meet Our Students

Laurel E. Haydock
MICROELECTRONIC ENGINEERING

Laurel E. Haydock "During the summer before my freshman year, I participated in a computer-building workshop for entering female engineering students. From that summer to the present, I have felt at home in the RIT engineering community. The College of Engineering not only gives female engineering students opportunities to become involved in extracurricular activities, but also provides an academic and social support group. My time at RIT has been enriched with the experience of meeting new people, expanding my horizons and realizing my potential to make an impact in the engineering field."

Sara North
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Sara North "I first came to RIT as a junior in high school trying to figure out where I wanted to be. An RIT engineering professor sat down with me for a half hour and discussed my options with me. That is the type of concern and attention I have come to expect as a student here. ?Every engineering student is an investment in the future. RIT faculty and staff go out of their way to make sure their students are as prepared as possible for the world outside their doors. Whether you are an undergraduate student working on a project or a graduate student trying to finish your thesis, there is always someone willing to help you out."
