The Kate Gleason College of Engineering uses a team-based approach to
offer comprehensive support services for our students. You'll find helpful
staff members, professors, tutors, and counselors in all areas of the
college. We are here to help you succeed in your academic career and beyond.
KGCOE Student Services Office

The mission of the KGCOE Student Services Office is to provide a place
for engineering students to find advising, support, and counseling services
to build a solid foundation in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

KGCOE Engineering Learning Center (ELC)
James E. Gleason Bldg. (09/1000)
Free tutoring is provided by engineering faculty and students for most
engineering, calculus, physics, and chemistry courses in the first two
years of the curriculum. If you have difficulty understanding the course
work or have questions about homework, you are encouraged to drop in the
center for help. Hours are posted each quarter outside the door, or you
may check the tutoring link for the most up-to-date
schedule.
Software Engineering/Computer Engineering Mentoring Lab
Golisano Building (70/1670)
This newly created lab, sponsored in part by Motorola, exists to help students from Computer Engineering
and Software Engineering with their programming courses. Since the schedule
of mentors changes quarterly, students are encouraged to check the KGCOE
tutoring link.
NTID Engineering Support Services
James E. Gleason Bldg. (09/1115)
A wide variety of services are available for engineering deaf and hard
of hearing students. These include: notetaking, tutoring, career counseling,
academic advising, assistance in requesting interpreting, and personal
