Tutoring & Mentoring

Tutoring and mentoring services are available year round. Advisers in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and elsewhere at RIT can help you more thoroughly understand your academic subjects, discuss high school-college transition issues, discover your own learning style, and develop study skills that will optimize your program of study at RIT. The Engineering Learning Center (ELC) – James E. Gleason Building (09/1001) The Engineering Learning Center (ELC) is staffed by computer, industrial and systems, electrical and mechanical engineering upper class students Monday – Thursday from 10 AM until 7 PM and on Friday from 10 AM until 4 PM. These students can help with engineering, math, and science courses.

If you need help with the new Python language, the CS Tutoring Center is the place to go. Open from 9am to midnight 7 days a week in 70/3670. Their website: CS Student Center.

There is also a Software Engineering SSE lab. Open from 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday in 70-1670.
