We are the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Aero Design Team. We design, fly, and build model airplanes for competitions.
We are located in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and we have our own lab located next to the machine shop.
During the year the club meets every Saturday at 11:00am in the lab. During those meetings we work on designing, building, and test flying our competition planes.
In 2011 we are participating in the SAE east micro class competition. The competition entails building a micro air vehicle that is able to carry a payload. More details can be found at their website:
