Applied Cryptography & Information Security Lab
The Applied Cryptography and Information Security Research Laboratory focuses on design, analysis, and implementations of cryptographic primitives, algorithms, and architectures targeting embedded, multicore, and reconfigurable systems. For ARM- and microcontroller-based implementations, we develop efficient and fast software libraries employing various machine level optimization techniques. For hardware implementations, our research is twofold. For small and low power/energy applications (resource-constrained), we design efficient hardware architectures and implement them as ASICs, while for high performance applications, we develop and devise fast architectures targeting FPGAs.
