This seminar has been updated with even more current content and information to reflect the 2015 version of ISO 9001. The seminar is taught by a practicing auditor who will discuss the skills needed to meet the 2015 requirements. Students will learn how to plan for a successful audit, perform the audit of the entire management system and then report findings and ensure that corrective actions are well documented and completed. The class will include lectures, case studies, actual examples and discussions. The discussions will enable students to bring up questions and challenges that they have experienced, so the entire class can learn. Topics include:
Students will earn a certificate for the class. The exam is held later in the afternoon for those that want to stay to earn that level of certification. Remember that the transition from the 2008 ISO standard to the 2015 version of the standard must be completely implemented by September, 2018.
Erin Crowley, senior trainer and consultant specializes in ISO quality standards. Her industry experience includes automotive component manufacturing, automation, and supplier quality. Erin analyzes business management systems to identify gaps and establish continuous improvement targets. She has implemented ISO 9001 for manufacturing companies as well as developed internal auditor training programs for Automotive TS 16949 and Environmental ISO 14001. Erin is ISO/ TS 16949 CB Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor through Perry Johnson Registrar. Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY. She is currently an ISO 9001 2015 consultant for RIT.
