ISO 9001:2008 Overview and Implementation

 

Organizations that have implemented the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System-Requirements have reported significant improvements in their management system, increased customer satisfaction, and a positive return on their investment. This workshop is designed to familiarize you with how to develop a process approach, understand the specific requirements in the standard, and develop a plan for successful implementation.

Meet your instructor

 

Donald D. Baker, MBA, EdD, Professor, is Director of the John D. Hromi Center for Quality and Applied Statistics at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a consultant with industry, government, and educational institutions in the areas of quality standards and the assessment of quality systems. He is a certified Quality System Auditor through the Registrar Accreditation Board and has assisted numerous organizations to develop their quality systems and documentation for registration under the ISO 9000 Quality Standards and QS-9000 standard. Dr. Baker received his BA in English from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and the MEd, EdD and MBA from the University of Rochester. He was elected a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society.
