How to Understand, Measure, and Control Variability
When dealing with variability in data, it is critical to make sure that the measurement errors in data are as small as possible. In this webinar, you will learn how to analyze and improve your measurement system. You will also learn how to recognize and investigate sources of variability, as well as how to establish controls over future variability in your process. This webinar consists of two 3-hour sessions scheduled on two different days. The participants will work through a combination of online instructions, demonstrations, and hands-on computer practice.

Engineers, managers, supervisors and other professionals who need to interpret data or to plan projects that need to be supported by data. Some prior experience with Minitab® is recommended (which can be fulfilled by taking two of our webinars: Using Minitab® for Understanding Data and Fundamentals of Statistics with Minitab®).
Meet your instructor
Peter Bajorski, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at CQAS. He has 28 years of experience in teaching and consulting. He teaches academic courses in statistics as well as short courses for corporate clients in data analysis and Lean Six Sigma. Peter also performs statistical consulting in engineering, finance, and management applications. Prior to joining RIT, he held positions at Cornell University, the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and the New York State Department of Transportation.
