Using Minitab® for Understanding Data
In today's quality-conscious world, understanding data is essential for planning, decision-making, and process improvement. Many managers, engineers, and even operators are now expected to interpret data. How can I summarize large amounts of data? What do the results mean? In this webinar, you will learn the basic skills and knowledge on how to understand data by using Minitab® statistical software. This webinar consists of two 3-hour sessions scheduled on two different days. The participants will work through a combination of online instructions, demonstrations, and hands-on computer practice.

Engineers, managers, supervisors and other professionals who need a basic understanding of data or wish to update their knowledge. No prior experience with Minitab® is required.
Meet your instructor
Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at CQAS. He has 28 years of experience in teaching and consulting. He teaches academic courses in statistics as well as short courses for corporate clients in data analysis and Lean Six Sigma. Peter also performs statistical consulting in engineering, finance, and management applications. Prior to joining RIT, he held positions at Cornell University, the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and the New York State Department of Transportation.
