The Machine Shop is the companion lab and adjacent to the Machine Tool lab. This lab is generally used by students, faculty and staff to build required projects, parts, assemblies, and research apparatus. It is staffed by three certified tool and die makers who are available to assist in the design and fabrication of the required equipment. The machines are available during working hours to allow workflow to continue while labs are being taught in the Machine Tool Lab. This lab also houses a modest array of CNC mills and lathes for high volume or high tolerance, multifaceted parts. Mr. David Hathaway manages the Machine Shop.
