Engineering Management Minor

Purpose
A minor in Engineering Management would focus on the management of the engineering and technological enterprise and integrate technological and managerial expertise. Engineering Management is concerned with understanding the technology involved in an engineering project and the management process through which the technology is applied. This minor would support the dual role of the engineering manager; both as a technologist and a manager. The object would be to provide a background in areas commonly needed in this role, such as engineering management, engineering economics, and accounting, in addition to industrial engineering expertise.

Eligibility
All matriculated undergraduates in engineering and engineering-related programs (i.e., consistent with math/science requirements), except industrial engineering students.

Policies and Procedures
Minor will be consistent with all Institute-level policies pertaining to minors (Policies and Procedures manual D 1.1.)
