This seminar is the first in a series of seven seminars on the
technical and literary aspects of writing a thesis. This seminar
will focus on how to define a thesis in terms of the following:
- Audience and Purpose
- Potential for Publication
- Taking Ownership of Your Thesis (and what is your advisor's
responsibility?)
- Thesis Outline: required pieces, how to draft, starting point,
etc.
- Work schedule and timeline: Is it possible???
