Honors Program

The Honors Program is designed to enhance the academic and professional experiences of qualifying students. In addition to participating in Honors general education curriculum, students have access to special courses, seminars, projects, and advising in the College of Engineering.

A curriculum focused on multidisciplinary design in a global environment stimulates and challenges students to achieve their greatest potential. Extensive travel and field trips to key industrial sites allow students to observe engineering disciplines as practiced to better understand and appreciate many dimensions of engineering professions.

In the fourth and fifth years, students have the opportunity to have a significant international educational experience with co-op placement outside the U.S., study abroad, or a design project partnership with students in an international university. Seminars and social events with engineering faculty and advisors round out the program.
