Co-op: Experience That Pays When it comes to cooperative education (co-op), RIT mechanical engineering students have a wide array of opportunities to choose from. Past students have designed automotive components at General Motors, worked on a team developing new refrigeration systems at Carrier Corporation, and improved the quality of plastic containers at Mobil Chemical. Co-op enables you to explore different career paths and make informed choices about the career direction that is best for you. For more information about RIT's cooperative education program and the opportunities available, visit the RIT Office of Cooperative Education & Career Services web site. Co-op Forms Use this student co-op evaluation form to earn credit for your co-op. The form must be completed by you, then be signed by yourself and your adviser, and delivered to the mechanical engineering department office. For those completing a co-op in the Spring of 2005 or after, the co-op evaluation form must be completed online, printed out, and then signed by yourself and your advisor before being delivered to the Mechanical Engineering office.
