Visit RIT Mechanical Engineering!

We would be pleased to have you visit our department, and learn about all that we have to offer! The department offers numerous opportunities for prospective students and their families to learn about mechanical engineering at RIT. You may sign up for any of these events through the RIT admissions office.

College and Careers is a program focused on High school students who are entering their senior year. Rising seniors are invited to investigate their career options through hands-on activities at RIT. Working with our students and faculty, they will use our state of the art facilities and technology to help them get started in making choices for their future. Spend a night in the dorms, attend admissions sessions, participate in a classroom experience, and have fun socializing with other prospective students. Feel free to try out a couple of different academic programs, and learn about various career opportunities!

Mechanical Engineering Information Sessions provide prospective studentsStudents recruit peers to colloraborate on their Senior Design Projects. and their families with an opportunity to learn about the ME department and career opportunities for mechanical engineers. Meet with an ME faculty member, and tour our facilities to learn about what makes our program so special! Also, attend an information session hosted by admissions, and participate in a walking tour of the academic side of campus. On weekdays, you may also be able to tour a dorm room.
