Microelectronic Engineering Dual Degrees

Santosh Kurinec

The Microelectronic Engineering program, in conjunction with the RIT Material Science and Engineering program offers qualified students the opportunity to pursue a combined BS degree in Microelectronic Engineering and MS degree in Material Science and Engineering in a five and a half year program. One semester of coop is waived to allow students to complete the programs in a reduced timeframe.

Students also have the opportunity to combine their BS degree with an MS in Science, Technlogy and Public Policy offered from the College of Liberal Arts.

For both dual degrees in order to graduate in the same 5 years, that the BS would normally take, students will have one semester less co-op. They will not have to go on co-op in spring of their fourth year. They will also double count 9 credits for a total of 150 credits. (120 undergraduate and 30 graduate credit hours)
