Candidates should have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and at least two years of experience in a manufacturing or service business environment. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. No graduate entrance exam is required, although candidates are welcome to support their application with results from the GMAT or GRE.
Admitted students must possess prerequisite knowledge at the introductory level in the following areas: probability and statistics, engineering economy or basic finance, and manufacturing processes. Areas that need strengthening can be addressed by guided reading, formal course work, independent study, seminars, or other suitable means.
Applicants must provide the following:
- A completed graduate application
- An official transcript for all undergraduate and graduate work completed
- Two letters of recommendation, typically from a current or recent supervisor or mentor
- A current resume
- Application fee
