October 2009 – Prof. Stefan Preble receives an AFOSR Young Investigator Award.

September 2009 – We will be acquiring a scanning probe microscope for investigating and controlling nano-sized structures and devices.

July 2009 – Prof. Stefan Preble received a DARPA Young Faculty Award.

June 2009 – Our group is awarded a grant from NSF/SRC to investigate Hybrid Electronic/Photonic Networks for Multicore Chips, in collaboration with Paul Ampadu’s group at University of Rochester and Luke Lester’s group at University of New Mexico.

October 2008 – Our group is awarded a grant from NSF to investigate the control of individual photons on a silicon chip.
