Since we’re in week 4 of the semester, here are 4 tips to keep handy the rest of the year:
Week 1: Enjoy your college experience. Everyone says it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life, academically and socially. Knowing that, keep everything in moderation.
Week 2: It is never too late to meet more people or join more clubs. Networking is imperative!
Week 3: Get to know your classmates and organize a group study session: It can be helpful to study in groups – sometimes. Evaluate whether or not studying with others will be beneficial to the subject as well at your learning process.
Week 4: Take advantage of your professors office hours! This is the time to clear up any questions. Plus getting to know your professors will give you an advantage.
Week 5: Study in an environment where you can focus on the material instead of being distracted by what is going on around you.
Come out and learn about personal branding! We will be discussing how we portray ourselves on social media and how we should be portraying ourselves on professional platforms. Thursday at 6 pm Campus Center Rm 1829.
