RIT offers you abundant opportunities to keep your mind sharp by keeping busy and getting involved. Just some of the options you’ll find on campus include a radio station, a campus magazine, a jazz ensemble, student government and community service opportunities. An active events calendar also features nationally known bands, plays, movies, comedians, and speakers.
Our campus is alive with sports and recreation activities as well. RIT’s men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic teams have a history of excellence, posting impressive winning seasons and capturing a number of national championships, and our intramural program offers independent and coed leagues in many indoor and outdoor sports. RIT’s athletic facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, weight room, ice arena, swimming pool, gyms, racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, playing fields, a wilderness fitness trail, and the Gordon Field House with a seating capacity of 8,000.
