The Microelectronic Engineering Department has a strong Industrial Affiliate Program.
The companies that provide curriculum input and support to the program and laboratory through donations of equipment and money at a certain level are designated as the Industrial Affiliates. The members of the Affiliate companies are invited each year for our annual conference where they, the faculty, graduating seniors and graduate students make technical presentations. They also represent them at on campus career fairs. In addition, they may visit our laboratory facilities and provide their feedback and to ensure that the students are receiving adequate laboratory experience. The faculty maintains strong connections with the industrial affiliates by visits, short courses and seminars or joint research
