WE@RIT Everyday Engineering Summer Camp

Offered Summer Quarter to Girls and Young Women in Grades 4-12

This day camp is full of hands-on engineering and recreational activities. Camp introduces engineering through active learning and teamwork to a group of participants from grades 4-11.  The week long experience also emphasizes math games, accomplishments of women in engineering, and recreational daily activities. Engineers partner with educators in instruction.  Lessons cover a wide variety of topics including alternative energy, robotics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering and industrial & systems engineering. This program also has a strong focus on team work, design, creativity, math skills, and fun! Our camp motto is Kate Gleason's famous saying, “I Can if I will!”
