RIT is again recognized for educational quality and value in the annual U.S. News & World Report: America’s Best Colleges. RIT ranked ninth in the “Best Universities – Master’s (North region)” category. RIT also received the second highest peer assessment score, which is a survey of presidents, provosts and deans from other universities judging a school’s academic excellence. In the “Programs to Look For” category, RIT was listed as one of only 18 colleges nationally recognized for excellence in the “internships/cooperative education” category.
The Princeton Review, the New York-based education services company, includes RIT’s E. Philip Saunders College of Business in the 2010 edition of its book, Best 301 Business Schools. In addition, the College Sustainability Report Card has selected RIT as a “Campus Sustainability Leader” as part of its annual survey of American colleges and universities. It is the first time RIT has been selected for this honor.
