Undergraduate students will again showcase their research to their peers and members of the Rochester community at the annual Undergraduate Research symposium, 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. Aug. 2, at the RIT Inn & Conference Center. The symposium showcases student research, innovation and creativity from all of RIT’s colleges and institutes. The day’s event includes two alumni keynote addresses, oral presentations and poster sessions.
This year’s session themes are biomedical and life sciences, energy and sustainability, chemistry and materials, modeling and simulations, imaging and optics, and social sciences and humanities. For those students who want to present, abstracts are due by July 12. For those who want to attend, the registration deadline is July 26. The event is free and open to the public.
