Chisholm’s ‘Chasin’ the Bird’ recognized by library association
David Chisholm, adjunct faculty in the College of Art and Design, had his graphic novel Chasin’ the Bird included on the American Library Association’s “2021 Best Graphic Novels For Adults” list. Part biography and part historical fiction, the novel features both Chisholm’s words and art as several different people shine a light on the legend of Charlie Parker’s time in California.
