Clean Snowmobile team takes second place

RIT’s Clean Snowmobile team took second place at its recent competition, March 1-3 in Eagle River, Wis. It was the best outing for the team that began in 2012 with top placements in handling, acceleration, and in noise reduction. Overall goals of the SAE-sponsored Clean Snowmobile Competition (CSC) national event are to improve performance, decrease noise, target zero emissions, and develop sustainable systems for the traditional snowmobile. CSC makes changes to the competition each year to present new engineering challenges.
