He is an expert on flow boiling, critical heat flux, fluid flow and heat transfer in microchannels, contact line heat transfer, bubble dynamics, advanced cooling techniques for microelectronic and high-heat flux devices, fluid flow in micropassages and thermal analysis. Kandlikar is the chief editor of Handbook of Phase Change: Boiling and Condensation (Taylor and Francis, 1999) and has authored more than 80 conference and journal publications and a chapter in Compact Heat Exchanger. He holds a bachelor's from Marathwada University, and a master's and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. |
