James Moon is an expert on design and fabrication of semiconductor-based electronic and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) devices, silicon-based semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing and microsystems engineering, including design and fabrication.

Moon has 26 years of industrial experience in engineering and engineering management.

Moon earned a bachelor's in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a master's in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, an MBA in finance and applied economics from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
