He is the 2004 Gravure Research Professor and in 1997 was a Gravure Education Foundation Exchange Professor with the Gravure Education Foundation in Rochester, N.Y. Chung received an Education Award of Excellence from the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation in Pittsburgh, Penn., in 1991. He holds a master's in Printing Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology (1976) and a B.A. in Industrial Technology from Eastern Washington University (1972). Chung has had more than 30 technical papers published in conference proceedings and technical journals on the subject of color management and process control; and has extensive experience in process control and color management practices in a variety of process color printing, e.g., offset, gravure and digital printing processes. |
