Mike Haselkorn is a senior staff engineer and team leader for the Structural & Materials Analysis Team at the National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery at Golisano Institute for Sustainability. His responsibilities include material evaluation and developing and demonstrating new cost-effective processes for material salvage. Dr. Haselkorn holds over 30 patents and has over 25 years’ industrial experience in material evaluation, product design and component manufacturing focusing on developing new applications and cost-effective manufacturing methods for ceramic, carbon, high-strength and high-temperature super alloy compositions, and stainless and high-strength steels. His expertise includes material analysis, design for remanufacture and reverse engineering.
