Vincent Serravallo is an expert in labor relations issues and is currently conducting research on unionization in higher education. His additional areas of expertise include the sociology of work, work and community and the consequences of work on familial relations.

Serravallo also serves as director of the College of Liberal Arts' summer study abroad program in Kosovo, which includes a course on the society and culture of Kosovo and Eastern Europe.

Serravallo holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the City University of New York.
