Clinton Wallington instructs the world's only university-level course in space tourism development, which focuses on implications of space travel by the general public to the hospitality and tourism industry.

The course explores the history of space exploration and habitation, economic and technical factors related to commercial development of space (particularly low earth orbit habitats such as the International Space Station), and business development, dietetics, environmental management including HVAC, orbital mechanics, packaging science and tourism management as they relate to future space tourism needs.

As a summer fellow at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Wallington developed a five-year master plan for International Space Station outreach efforts. For his work he received an ISS Team Spirit award.

As director of RIT's graduate program in Instructional Technology, Wallington trains instructional designers-those who create courses that other people teach or that need no teacher-in educational media and instructional technologies.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
