Milazzo earns volunteer service award
Brit Milazzo, digital marketing and communications manager for RIT’s K-12 University Center, was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal while on duty March 22-25 at Fort Meade, Md. Milazzo, a longtime reservist in the U.S. Navy, has spent more than 2,000 hours during the past three years volunteering with youth sports programs, leading a high school ski and snow sports club, and advising the RIT Veterans Club.

Decked out with technicolor lights and vibrant animated displays, RIT’s MAGIC Spell Studios soundstage became a runway last week during Beyond Fashion. The rainbow runway featured a diverse collection of garments and wearables crafted by local designers and RIT students across multiple disciplines.
