Myers awarded fellowship to study upper limb prosthetic devices
Jade Myers, a mechanical and industrial engineering Ph.D. student, has been awarded a one-year research fellowship from the Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation to support research toward improving the safety, function, and comfort of upper limb prosthetic devices using 3D printable density-graded lattice structures. Myers will present the results of her research during the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium March 1-4, 2023, in Nashville.
