Nasr presents on circular economy
Nabil Nasr, associate provost for academic affairs and director of Golisano Institute for Sustainability, presented a webinar, “Remanufacturing and the Circular Economy,” as part of the Circular Economy Initiative at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 27. Nasr discussed remanufacturing as a key technology enabler for circular economy. He also discussed his work as CEO of the REMADE Institute, which focuses on driving down the cost of technologies essential to reuse, recycle, and remanufacture materials such as metals, fibers, polymers, and electronic waste and aims to achieve significant improvement in energy efficiency in materials manufacturing by 2027.
