
Loyse Groff (left), an 11th-grader at Benjamin Franklin High School, got some hands-on experience in ultra-sound technology with the guidance of Hamad Ghazle, director, Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, RIT. Groff was one of about 820 high school students who attended the 17th annual Allied Health Career Days in the Student Alumni Union Oct. 2 and 3. The event, sponsored by RIT's Department of Allied Health Sciences in the College of Science, gives high school students a chance to explore a wide variety of job possibilities in the health care field.
