gift from Eastman Kodak Co. The announcement comes on the heels of the university’s

to serve as the next chair of RIT’s Board of Trustees and is poised to become
a high-ranking administrator in the federal government.

director of IT Collaboratory, STAR Center |
|
The
IT Collaboratory, designated by the New York State Office of Science, Technology
and Academic Research as a STAR (Strategically Targeted Academic Research)
Center, has named its first director. The appointment of Ken C. Chin was
announced by Donald Boyd, RIT associate provost for outreach programs.

in Roberley Bell’s Public Art, Public Space class in the College of Imaging
Arts and Sciences are learning how to approach design from a community’s
perspective. Later this month the students will help members of the Rochester
community work together to improve their neighborhood.
