Schumer touts tax credit

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., greets members of the RIT community during a news conference in the Bausch & Lomb Center on Nov. 29. Schumer used the occasion to discuss Congress’ plan to address college affordability by renewing a tuition tax deduction. This will let families of middle-class college students deduct $4,000 a year from their taxes.
