As part of his recent trip to RIT international campuses in Croatia and the United Arab Emirates, President Bill Destler visited RIT Dubai for a new campus dedication ceremony on Oct. 24. He was joined by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan (second from left), the Dubai minister of higher education and scientific research; Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum (center), chairman of Dubai Silicon Oasis; and other dignitaries. “The seeds of RIT Dubai’s success have been planted and are now being carefully nurtured by this outstanding group of leaders,” Destler remarked.
