Brad Garrett, Erin Brockovich, Yellowcard Highlight RIT’s Brick City Homecoming

Three big-name performers will take the stage during Rochester Institute of Technology’s Brick City Homecoming festivities Oct. 5-8.

Comedian and three-time Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett, best known for his portrayal of Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, will entertain the crowd at RIT’s Gordon Field House and Activities Center at 8 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 7. Garrett stars in a new FOX sitcom, Til Death, this fall.

Erin Brockovich is this year’s Horton Distinguished Speaker. Brockovich, who is credited with spearheading the largest environmental direct action lawsuit, resulting in the largest legal settlement in U.S. history, will give a presentation in the field house at 2 p.m., Oct. 7. Brockovich’s legal triumph served as the basis for the 2000 hit movie Erin Brockovich, starring Julia Roberts.

Yellowcard will rock the field house at 8 p.m., Oct. 6. The punk-inspired quintet went double platinum in 2004 with their album Ocean Avenue. Their 2006 album, Lights and Sounds, topped the Billboard charts earlier this year on the Alternative Album chart.

Tickets for all performances—$47.50 for Garrett, $12 for Brockovich and $30 for Yellowcard—go on sale to the public Wednesday, Sept. 13. To purchase tickets, visit the Gordon Field House box office or charge by phone at (585) 475-4121. Tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets are subject to handling fees.
