Family Halloween Concert at RIT Pairs Music with Acting, Oct. 29-30

Folks of all ages in the Rochester community will don costumes this Halloween, but not just for trick-or-treating.

All are invited to attend the Family Halloween Concert presented by the Rochester Institute of Technology Orchestra and Brighton Symphony Orchestra, and costumes are encouraged. This year, the RIT Players will act out scenes in two free public performances: Saturday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. in RIT’s Ingle Auditorium, and Sunday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. in Council Rock School auditorium, Brighton.

The concert will feature a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's Incidental Music for Shakespeare's ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream.’ The RIT Players will act out several scenes that are aimed at entertaining children and adults alike.
