Black History Month Celebrated with Gospel at RIT

Celebrate Black History Month with music at Rochester Institute of Technology.

RIT Gospel Fest 2005 will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, in Ingle Auditorium, Student Alumni Union.

Sponsored by the RIT Gospel Ensemble, the free concert features performances by Monroe Community College Gospel Choir, University of Rochester Gospel Choir, Save our Sisters Choir and New Life Church Choir.

The world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, in Ingle Auditorium. Tickets for the concert are $3 and are available at the SAU candy counter. The show is sponsored by the Center for Campus Life, Assistant Provost for Diversity and North Star Center. For tickets, call 475-5210.
